Bob Thomas is a personal friend of mine. That may cause you to just tune out immediately. I have always seen him as a friend to the mainframe. I feel sad for anyone that would let one article in a magazine negate the effect of years of other articles.
z/Journal has helped the mainframe and will continue to do so as long as there is a mainframe. While others will think we are selling out and in Microsoft's pocket. Hard to win sometime! But, what we really want to be is an independent source of information for users of IBM mainframe systems."
