Is there any free?Mainframe(JCL,CICS) simulators available for desktop PC? They say NEXUS terminal is free nut I cant find a working host name/ Ip address for it...

Hardware emulator is available. See the Hercules-390 list on yahoo groups, or google on Hercules.

Various operating systems available, but limited to ones that IBM has no restrictions on (so you can get MVT, MVS, DOS, VM). Restricted systems and components are not available, unless you happen to work for IBM; these include z/OS, OS/390, ESA, DB2, CICS, etc.

For a complete, ready to run MVS system, look in cbttape.org for the turnkey system, with matching yahoo group turnkey-mvs
