The z390 Portable Mainframe Assembler and Emulator open source J2SE java based tool includes TN3270 client server emulation over TCP/IP sockets and there is support for EXEC CICS assembler applications including SEND, RECEIVE, BMS mapping etc. which can be run on Windows or Linux with multiple clients on same or different processors on the same TCP/IP network. There are demo and regression tests plus an SOA type client server application generator which includes support for assembler and COBOL applications via EZSOKET interface.
