I also had different data sets within the same sysplex do to merging. Now the dsn is shared and has &SYSPLEX as part of the name. I never ran into any problems... So can't you set up DAE as not shared and have each system use its own (I realize you lose the sysplex wide benefit of DAE)? IOW, don't include SHARE in your ADYSETxx parms. It was a long time ago so I can't look back, but I thought that is what I did.
