SYMLINK FAILED FOR LINK

appears to indicate a missing directory
/techsupp/OSP17864/Service/usr/lib/nls/msg/En_US/ope....
( this pathname might be truncated in the message )
in a target HFS. It is possible that this would be created by a "MKDIR"
script such as Mark describes,
