That would be great for those shops with mainframe access to the 
internet, but it would not work for shops that limit such access - those
shops that require workstations as an intermediate stage when 
getting maintenance.  That would require getting a copy of"the Great
SMPPTS in the Sky" and all other RECIEVE-built datasets to MVS.

In those shops, RECEIVE FROMNETWORK (where "network" is a local
Unix file) would still be required.

And arguments that such restrictions are stupid doesn't make them 
go away.
