Would someone point me to or list the steps that have to be done either on z/OS or in the DS8100 prior to implementing an IODF that is changing Aliases back to Base devices ? I am under the impression that the Aliases have to be released in MVS before the new IODF can be loaded and my main storage guy unavailable.
