The Copy and Paste varies greatly between emulators. It is not easy to
implement because of the field oriented nature of the 3270 screen. Many
emulators support paste in insert mode and must handle the data in the field
properly. What if the field is not long enough? Do you push the data to the
next field, clip it, or lock the keyboard with an error? What if the field is
padded with spaces? Do you treat the spaces as nulls or do the spaces mean
something when the modified screen is sent back to the host. If you push the
data on paste, do you wrap it to the next field? If you wrap it, on cut do you
unwrap it? If you paste in overwrite mode, but the pasted data is not as long
as the remaining data do you leave the extra data or automatically erase to the
end of the field?

Pcomm does some Copy/Paste functions very well, just differently from what a PC
does or some other emulators, including the ones I am responsible for
developing which handle paste in insert mode. You might check Pcomm's edit
options to see if you can change the behavior.
