I thought (back in April) that I'd read your "are you sure you don't mean in an old version of SMP, rather than SMP/E", comment at least once before - possibly lots of years ago though. I've only got a few hundred old IBM-MAIN posts accessible on the system I'm using now so can't search right back to whenever I started posting - which I expect was in the 1990s.
