I really don't recall what the document would be called that showed what is in
the processor at which location. That said, if you have access to the computer
room then just open the boxes to see what is in them. At least you would know
that I/O cards are there. Does do much for knowing the number and type of
processors or memory.

If you have access to the hardware side of IBM support (Resource Link) them
maybe the boxes are already listed. If so, then you could see what is in the
boxes at which location. I don't recall if it took a "call home" for the boxes
to show up.

But technically there had to be someone in your company who worked with IBM on
configuring the boxes. Between that person and someone in IBM they should have
the needed information as to what was ordered.

Every time we ordered a new processor IBM emailed me the layout of what was in
the box and at what location I would find the I/O cards. Even with that
information I would always visually inspect the box to ensure that at least the
I/O information matched what IBM had said.

I would go to the contract and find all of the licensed feature codes that were
included. Exactly what each feature code means is sometimes obscure,
(especially when it comes to software licensing) but IBM marketing or your
reseller will know.

Question :

I have 2 new z16's on the computer floor that we need to get working but I need
to find the detail of what is in them.

What is the terminology in the IBM world for a packing slip ?

In the DELL world it is called a packing slip that tells you what is in the
machine you ordered.

I have full access to all the IBM support sites.
