It apparently does so for MACROs, but I have evidence both from
tracing the HLASM user I/O exits and from a recurrent regression
when using a UNIX directory in the SYSLIB concatenation that
at COPY it NOTEs the current position; FINDs the COPY member;
reads it, and POINTs back to the former position.

Apparently this works alike for PDS and PDSE.
