Though I thought I had heard a year ago, no more CDs/DVDs.

At Share in 2012 I thought they said the z/OS V1.13 DVDs were the last ones to
be produced.

Though I could have not heard that correctly.

Thanks.

That was kind of the theory I was developing in my mind. Better than "IBM has
abandoned the thing entirely." Only two more weeks.

You are not the only one! :-)> I use them because I also like the shelf
format and for the ease of downloading and updating the shelves.

For some strange reason, IBM only updates the online collection when they issue
new CDs/DVDs for a new release of an operating system. That's why z/VSE and
z/VM have newer shelves than z/OS. Apparently IBM still hasn't learned how to
use that new fangled Internet thingie yet! :-)> (Just look at the complaints
about SR, InfoCenter, web pages that have to be accessed in "compatibility"
mode, etc.)
