Reposting the original question as stated for everyone's benefit. First of all, *everyone* has budgetary limits. Tell the vendor(s) what your limits are, then see what offers you get. If you're still not satisfied, consider adjusting your budget and/or amending your requirements. I did not see the word "automation" in your question. If that word is part of your requirements, let this mailing list know. I do see the word "all," and that word suggests some breadth of coverage. In that vein, and making the educated guess that you run more than just the base z/OS operating system, IBM recently introduced its Tivoli OMEGAMON Performance Management Suite for z/OS that includes all OMEGAMON functions, plus a bit more, in a single package. That package is more attractively priced than buying them all (or even a few of them) separately, though of course you can still pick and choose. That package is one very fine option. Other examples, in no particular order, include BMC's MainView product line, CA's *SYSVIEW* product line (probably -- I'm a bit thrown by your mention of OPS/MVS since that's much more about automation), and ASG's TMON product line, to pick some examples. If you really did mean automation, either separately or in addition, then within IBM I'd look at IBM Automation Control for z/OS or, if your needs are even more sophisticated (and your budget a bit less limited), Tivoli System Automation for z/OS. (IBM zAware, as mentioned, is a complementary option and particularly useful if you have at least a moderately complex environment and/or particularly demanding service level requirements. Tivoli NetView for z/OS is a prerequisite for Tivoli System Automation for z/OS but not for IBM Automation Control. You can also license Tivoli NetView separately if that product alone meets your needs.)
