Jake, Along these lines. To make this work you need to do the following steps 1) Create a Dataclas with EA/EF 2) Update the Dataclas ACS Code for your VSAM datasets that are to get the Dataclas 3) TRANSLATE/VALIDATE/ACTIVATE the SCDS dataset for this Dataclas ACS code 4) Create the VSAM dataset and do a LISTC and verify the EA/EF is on the file.
