Linda, Most exits can do just about anything. An IEFUJI exit can easily locate JCTXRGSZ to simulate REGION=. It can also locate JCTXMLSZ to simulate MEMLIMIT=. To override anything coded at the step level the exit would also have to run the SCT chain and update the SCTX fields. Of course, all this is easier with an IEFUSI exit routine but I'm just saying that it is possible from within an IEFUJI.
