The problem with probabilities? They may fool you :-)


The famous "national characters" @, #, and $ in some code pages (all hex 
values):
CP 285 (UK, etc.): 7b, 7c, 4a
CP 273 (Germany, etc.): b5, 7b, 5b
CP 500 (International): 7c, 7b, 5c
CP 280 (Italy, etc.): b5, b0, 5b
