The is no DSCB, VIR or NVR for a SPOOL dataset. Even when you access them with a DCB they are not handled by DASD BSAM/QSAM, but vy a small CI to an ACB that is the responsibility of the JES running the job. So any special support you want would have to be in JES2 (JES3 is going away, alas.)
