First, Timothy Sipples is certainly one of the top authorities on this board, and I take his opinion very seriously. But both Lennie Dymoke-Bradshaw's reply, and Brian Chapman's seem to me closer to the facts. The paper is not only has half-truths and is misleading, but is utterly banal. I can't see there's anyone with actual responsibility for security or mainframes of any kind that could glean anything useful from it, other than IBM wants to sell something.
A prospective customer shouldn't have to re-edit the copy, nor "read between the lines" to divine what's really meant. I expect better than this from IBM. sas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
