The IF stage is even in the built-in plumbing on z/VM. It's just the documentation that is missing. And my apologies for the confusion about PIPCACHE, but that's one of mine. It *is* documented in my paper http://vm.marist.edu/~pipeline/rmhlup.pdf and there's even a VMARC file with the REXX stage. Rob PS Watch this space (or rather, the CMSPIP-L space). The Piper has been very productive lately. Some of that will be ready RSN.
