The console addresses are online and enabled. We can get in through TCPIP
and re-establish an OPERATOR session. I can use the PING test in the OSA
utilities section of the HMC to ping addresses outside of the mainframe.
The redbook says that the card will apparently re-initialize itself when
all of the CHPIDs from all of the LPARs are varied offline/online. We are
doing that now.

Pure guess on my part, but you may need to do a CP ENABLE on the ICC
addresses. You might even need to do a VARY ON before the ENABLE. Can
you get onto OPERATOR on some other 3270? If not, what about the SYSC or
SYSG console?
