I don't think that this will have much of an impact on the z/VM community as, to the best of my knowledge, PSI never offered to support z/VM on it's Intel platform.

A couple of months ago, IBM let the patent agreement with FSI (the Flex-ES folks) expire....and now IBM is suing PSI. Perhaps this is all laying the groundwork by IBM to introduce a small development/business type zSeries system in the "near" future......and this is pure speculation on my part.
