Marcy: Sorry, I was not clear. Allocation is in multiples of 1113 cylinders. You can make a volume whatever size you want, but if it is not a multiple of 1113 cylinders, the remainder up to the next 1113 cylinder boundary is not usable. Therefore, if you defined a volume of 100 cylinders, you would be wasting 1013 cylinders. Jim
