It doesn't take a special compiler. "REXXC fileid (NOSLINE NOTRACE" is
used in a lot of places. We have code that is used by a lot of people
who have a habit of cannibalizing EXECs and then calling the originator
of the code when their modifications do not work. Compiling with those
parameters works quite nicely.

TRACEXEC by Kent Fiala is also extremely handy when you try to do
selective tracing of REXX code.
