Another thing to know is that z/VM has two other TCP/IP configuration 
knobs:

1. NETSTAT OBEY.  This command can be used for simple one-line 
configuration changes.  Most often used with NETSTAT OBEY STOP and NETSTAT 
OBEY START.

2. ifconfig.  Just like Linux.  Sort of.  It issues OBEYFILE under the 
covers.  Most interesting when issued by someone in the OBEY list.
