Actually the quote was from Garth's FIRST album - which was REAL Country. I do agree that the later albums were far too weird for my country heart.
another quote form that first album I use a lot is: "I am too d... young to feel this d... old" George Strait rules and so does the Kinkster - (he should have been elected Governor of Texas) munson Adam Thornton <athorn...@sinenomine.net> Sent by: The IBM z/VM Operating System <IBMVM@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU> 12/18/2008 10:19 AM Please respond to The IBM z/VM Operating System <IBMVM@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU> To IBMVM@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU cc Subject Re: TAFOT: *country*? Actually, if it's Garth Brooks, it's more like "country". It might be hard to see from there, but those *are* sneer quotes. Garth is the Anti-Hank, as Kinky Friedman likes to say, and that kind of "country" ain't nothing but pop in a cowboy hat and tight jeans.
