Did a Q PF

PF1 BEFORE MACRO HELP CMS PEEK
PF2 BEFORE SOS LINEADD
PF3 ONLY COMMAND QUIT
PF4 BEFORE TABKEY
PF5 BEFORE SCHANGE 6

Is it just this location or do others have this problem?

I issue PEEK to look at a file in the READER.

At the bottom of the screen is:

1= Help      2= Add line  3= Quit      4= Tab      5= Clocate    6=
?/Change
7= Backward  8= Forward   9= Receive  10= Rgtleft 11= Spltjoin   12=
Cursor

I accidentally hit <PF4> instead of <PF3> causing the file to be
deleted:
File PROFILE EXEC has been discarded

Going back into PEEK and doing Q PF it show that <PF4> is set to DISCARD
instead of BEFORE TABKEY.

PF1 BEFORE MACRO HELP CMS PEEK
PF2 BEFORE SOS LINEADD
PF3 ONLY COMMAND QUIT
PF4 BEFORE DISCARD
PF5 BEFORE SCHANGE 6
PF6 ONLY ?
PF7 BEFORE BACKWARD
PF8 BEFORE FORWARD
PF9 BEFORE MACRO RECEIVE
PF10 BEFORE RGTLEFT
PF11 BEFORE SPLTJOIN
PF12 BEFORE CURSOR HOME
PF13 BEFORE MACRO HELP CMS PEEK
PF14 BEFORE SOS LINEADD
PF15 ONLY COMMAND QUIT
PF16 BEFORE TABKEY
PF17 BEFORE SCHANGE 18
PF18 ONLY ?
PF19 BEFORE BACKWARD
PF20 BEFORE FORWARD
PF21 BEFORE MACRO RECEIVE
PF22 BEFORE RGTLEFT
PF23 BEFORE SPLTJOIN
PF24 BEFORE CURSOR HOME

Just wondering????

As is said by Admiral Rickover
"It is obvious to the most casual observer"

To which we muttered under our breath 'yea, right'

Well, it's highly intuitive, after all.
