Only if you used IND$FILE to transfer them to your network and they were
text files originally, I'm afriad.

FTP uses different ASCII<->EBCDIC translation tables to IND$FILE which means
it won't work if they were really FTP'ed.

IND$FILE is usually a 'File Transfer' facility within a TN3270 Emulator e.g.
Attachmate and you would have to create a new File Transfer scheme with the
options specified to use it.

With this command you can put and get CMS packed files and be able to use
them?
