Yup, mine are insulated. I bought them at the tack store at Spruce Meadows In Calgary Alberta two years ago. I wear them all year round. I did spray them with silicone spray before I wore them, and I think that's helped protect them a bit. You need the pure wool socks that my mother makes...nothing is warmer. Wanda
