The interesting thing is, the guy who owns this horse is actually Icelandic, but has lived in this country for 15 years. He uses a mix of methods, some trad, a lot of NH as well. He's worked with Parelli, Magnus Larusson etc and is very open-minded about other training methods. His wife is a Shiatsu practitioner who was seriously into cross-country and 3 day eventing before getting hooked on Icelandics. I really like the way he rides and trains, and how his horses are to ride and handle.. My new horse Skessa actually belonged to his wife, and he trains all my youngsters as well. The only thing is, the 5 hour drive makes photo-taking a pain! ; ) Mic Mic (Michelle) Rushen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Solva Icelandic Horses and DeMeulenkamp Sweet Itch Rugs: www.solva-icelandics.co.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes"
