Yes, if in ordinary shoes or barefoot, but it was incredible how
confident the horses were last weekend when they realised they were
not slipping.

The only horse who slid - once - was the one whose studs were in the
wrong place. He was taken off straight away and the farrier changed
the studs, and after that he was just as happy as the others.
