Parasites, bossy pasturemates, poor feed, bad teeth, underlying disease (kidney disease, etc, etc ) over work...there's a long list but you should be able to get a pretty good idea of why without too much looking. Once you fix/manage the underlying problem, then you may need do nothing (but feed good hay or pasture) and she will gain weight. So - why do you think she thin? Also - is she really thin? Most of us are accustomed to thinking that "fat" is "normal". Can you send photos? have fun with her! ~ Jennifer Penny
