His conformation dictates (to me) that he needs to live in an overcast, damp or cloudy climate, preferably far from the equator. It's sunscreen season here in NC, and I've fought Gracie so many times that I never want another pink-skinned, bald-face horse. She seems to hate the smell of zinc oxide, but I can't find much else that lasts and works. Otherwise, he's lovely - it's just that I get grumpy when it's 99 degrees the first week of June. Sigh.
