I'll look into that possibility if I can find the time between blizzards here in the Northeast US. Did the OP ever strip the CRs from his file and try again? From a very quick look at the source this morning, no attempt is made to differentiate <CRLF> terminated lines from <LF> ones which means that his attempt to start ido2db would have failed in a veritable blaze of glory -- and hopefully more than a few errors geting logged.
