It was another spectacular day on the Chesapeake for day 2 of the Kennedy Cup. PRO Wayne Bretch and his RC team cranked out five races in oscillating breeze that ranged between 035 and 340 degrees and 7 - 15 knots.
After a difficult day yesterday, California Maritime Academy came out today with all guns blazing posting a 1,1,6,1,2 to move up to 2nd position behind Maine Maritime who had another consistent day with a 2,5,2,3,3. Navy got tangled up at a current induced weather mark debacle in the first race today and struggled thereafter to maintain consistency but remain 12 points back in third.
