yes, indeed. of course, the devil is in the details. having a separate pseudo-header with routing locator, for use by the routing system seems like a useful approach (though not the only possible approach). OTOH, based on what I've heard I've formed the impression that there are scaling limitations with the way that MPLS tends to be used. Keith
