Athlon64 2800+'s run at 1800MHz, have a single core, use a 130nm process and
were released in 2004.[1] On the other hand your "Intel Core2duo 2GHz" (is that
an E4400 or a "T7[23]?0" ?) has two cores, uses a 65nm process and was released
in 2006 or 2007.[2]

Does bootstrapping Ikarus make use of multiple cores?
