The ideal situation is where each party would tell you what they
think, and then most importantly, tell you precisely why they think
such thoughts.

That way you could perhaps learn something, or see things from a
different perspective, or even find that they are totally insane from
writing macros for too long.

The key is knowing not just what they think; but why they think it.

If they haven't got a good explanation; then be suspicous.
