You've never done "ikarus filename" to load the file into the repl? You've never defined things in the repl? I find that hard to believe. I agree that "load-semantics" is not the cleanest, and that's why it's losing its status as the default behavior of ikarus. But regardless of opinions, it has to remain supported. Aziz,,,
