No, I also want to have version numbers. I don't quite understand why version numbers aren't portable (wrt. PLT). Last time I tried PLT with my libraries, I was able to use `plt-r6rs --install' to install my versioned libraries (that don't have version numbers in their file names). After that things seemed to work fine.
