Incidentally, it would be good if we write our response below the relevant portion of the mail to which we are responding ("avoid top posting" to use jargon), and delete what is not necessary. This makes it easy for people to understand the context of the mail easily. At the same time, it would be good to maintain the relevant part of the original mail so that the context is clear to the reader. For instance, a response like "That is a good idea." without the idea given in the previous mail may not make sense to a reader who may not remember the idea in the previous mail. Best -- V.
