Yes I do agree. But, whatever the reason for which they started using
Windows, now the concern is to make them switch to GNU/Linux. Not much
people worry about using pirated copies. But if purchasing is the only
option to use Windows, then there is a better chance to see more people
using GNU/Linux.

Yes, that is a much better way. If we can convince our government to make
GNU/Linux as the only OS to be taught in schools, the task would be much
easier. But this involves lot more complexities like educating the teachers
on GNU/Linux. So we can keep doing what is possible at our community level.
