Thanks puneet, I will try doing this. But after I did trial and error with my computer (Linux), I now find that I am unable to open even the floppy and the CD rom, though the mnt shows the floppy, CD drive even the three drives that I have hda1,2,6. I don't know what has happened. I have to run these commands in terminal-is that the linux counterpart of DOS prompt. Pls. guide. I also had downloaded a file which helped me play MP3, but now nothing is playing on my system from the CD, Floppy or HD drive.
