Hello all,
I suspect some bad blocks on my HDD, and want to check for
those.I think "mke2fs -c -c " does it but that would format my
partition, also I tried using the "mke2fs -n -c /dev/hda1" but it
doesn't seem to do anything. Is there any utility or some parameters to
usual ones which may be used for this purpose ? Or any workarounds like
moving the existing data to some other partition, checking the partition
in doubt, and moving the data back ?
