Adios is real cool for just being the live linux. try out the UML, which is the icing on the cake - works without efforts, with almost no configuration requirements.

You can use UML (User Mode Linux) for creating multiple virtual Linux hosts within a single machine for testing purposes. It's also a neat way of having privilege separation between multiple users -- give each an independent Linux machine.
