What sort of connectivity does it have? Do you have the phone number and login/password for this computer? Can this computer intercept traffic between the RAS and the gateway router, or the gateway router and the 'net? What software is this computer running? Can it crack my PGP encryption? For that matter, can it even crack 40-bit RSA in real-time? Given the state of things in this country, sounds more like a device to answer a parliamentary question of the form ``Can the honourable Minister tell us what steps have been taken to ensure the security of the nation over the Internet?'' ``I would like to inform the House that we have a monitoring computer in each Internet access point in the country.'' ``Oh! I'm so glad to hear that we are now INVULNERABLE from the INTERNET THREAT OF HACKERS and MISGUIDED NATIONAL ZEALOTS. Let's PUT A BAN ON a TIBETAN MAILING LIST and SHOW THE WORLD HOW CLUED WE ARE!''.
