The total out of dmesg is pretty long and will send it if you want but on connection the following is generated: [53705.588000] ACPI: Power Button (CM) [PWRB] [53705.588000] input: Sleep Button (CM) as /class/input/input19 [53705.588000] ACPI: Sleep Button (CM) [SLPB] [53705.592000] input: Lid Switch as /class/input/input20 [53705.592000] ACPI: Lid Switch [LID] [53705.928000] ACPI: Thermal Zone [THRM] (33 C) [53706.088000] ACPI: AC Adapter [ACAD] (off-line) [53706.464000] ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT0] (battery present) [53717.608000] eth2: link up. [53717.608000] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth2: link becomes ready [53734.352000] eth2: no IPv6 routers present [53853.204000] usb 2-8: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 8 [53853.424000] usb 2-8: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [53853.424000] pl2303 2-8:1.0: pl2303 converter detected [53853.424000] usb 2-8: pl2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0 And when I set logging on in minicom (or similar) on device /dev/ttyUSB0 I get the current output. But there is no other indicator that I can use this as some sort of file mount. Stupidly tried but even if pl2303 is diabled in modprobe nothing else is picked up. -- Regards, Sudev Barar _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
