If that is the real reason, no wonder they are used so less. Serious bloggers would prefer to concentrate on writing blogs than spending time maintaining one. Bloggers like feedback. Readers love sending publicly displayed feedback. If your blog doesn't allow that, it is unlikely to be popular(If you don't want your blog to be popular, why the heck are you blogging anyway?). If you want reader's feedback, you need to accept user input. That by itself opens a can of worms. You need spam protection/moderation support, etc. etc. Any serious blogger would rather take up a less stressful profession (like photo journalism in Iraq) than spend their time writing and maintaining their blog. - Sandip _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - September 28-29, 2007 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
