AFAICT, Y! gets the info within few seconds and the lag between the
price at any point of time and what is actually shown if you *login*
to http://in.finance.yahoo.com is only a few minutes - typically less
than 5 minutes.

When you use the stockticker addon, you should also factor in the lag
introduced by the stockticker app - the default delay is 5 minutes,
IIRC, but you can set a different figure. (I have set at 15 minutes -
because I do not speculate / day trade.

On a related note, anybody know if other exchanges (NY, NASDAQ)
provide the ticker info free (as in free samoosas/port)?? Neither NSE
nor BSE provide the ticker info free - in any sense of the term.

Applications like qtstalker which import the info and give tech
analysis are available.
