Ashish, There seems to be some problem because of scim XIM support module does not get loaded. I was trying to follow instructions at http://www.scim-im.org/wiki/faq/general/why_xim_apps_does_not_work The output for the following command for me is 0. ps aux | grep "scim-launcher.*-f x11" | grep -v grep | wc -l When I load scim with "scim -d -c socket -f x11 -e socket", scim is loaded fine.
