Thanks Erik for reminding me that there still is an Innocence Mission miling
list. It sure has been a slow month...so let's get a thread going. I would
be interested to know what IM fans have been listening to
lately, new or old. Lately I've been listening to:
Beck - Sea Change (This is not only my favorite Beck release but right now
my favorite cd of 2002)
Peter Gabriel - UP (Gabriel finally returns to the studio and this cd was
worth the wait)
David Bowie - Heathen (Bowie's best work since Scary Monsters)
Jefferson Airplane - Long John Silver (I'd forgotten how much I liked this
album....and these are the best
vocals Grace slick has ever done)
David Gray - White Ladder (He already has a new cd out but I have just now
discovered this one)
Gillian Welch - Time (The Revelator) (I've been listening to this disc
nonstop for the last year. She has a
new DVD out of videos and live performances. If
you're interested, contact me for details)
Air - The Virgin Suicides OST (I love the film and the soundtrack by the
French electronic band Air is
great)
Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain (I can't recommend this beautiful, haunting record
enough)
